Marc graduated Purdue University in West Lafayette in May of 1993 and joined Oak Partners at its founding in December of that year. He has served clients providing planning and investment management for his entire career. Marc's investment, financial planning and economic commentary has been enjoyed in Northwest Indiana since 2002 when he began writing the Your Mind on Money column for the local newspaper. In 2026 Marc was recognized as a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor.
Marc and his wife Tracy reside in the Boone Grove area of Porter County. The family has four children.
The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings and a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.
