Michael R. Hadt, Team Leader, Investment Advisor Representative of SII

Michael R. Hadt started with Oak Partners, Inc. in April of 2010.  After successfully working as regional sales manager selling to law enforcement officials, Mike joined Oak Partners to form the Strategic Investment Group.  He understands each person’s goals are unique and works diligently to fully understand those differences.  Mike believes in a specific philosophy:  That the relationship you build with your financial advisor should be centered on trust and from that foundation of trust a meaningful and long-lasting relationship will emerge. 

Mike is an Investment Advisor Representative through SII Investments, Inc.  He holds both a Bachelors and Masters degrees in business from Indiana University.  Mike currently maintains securities registrations, Series 7 and 66. 

Mike has been a life long resident of Northwest Indiana and currently resides in Schererville.  He and his wife, Tracy, have been married since 2004 and have one Daughter and one Son.  Mike enjoys spending time with his family and friends, including attending all Notre Dame home football games.

Joseph G. Starkey, Team Leader, Investment Advisor Representative of SII

Joseph G. Starkey grew up in Northwest Indiana in the Lakes of the Four Seasons where he attended Boone Grove High School.  He later graduated from Indiana University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Management.  He was employed in the management and sales industry for four years before joining Oak Partners in August of 2007.  Upon joining Oak Partners, Joe acquired FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations along with his Life and Health License.  Joe previously managed the Professional Relationship Group within Oak Partners and acted as the liaison between Oak Partners and its accounting firm.  He also helped to develop Oak’s Client Experience Team which plans and executes all of Oak Partner’s marketing events.

In 2010, Joe formed the Strategic Investment Group of Oak Partners with Michael Hadt.  As an Investment Advisor Representative through SII Investments, Inc., he believes in a balanced cash flow strategy that drives income within portfolios while protecting against market volatility.   Joe strongly believes in lifelong client relationships based on outstanding service and support as well as individually tailored retirement plans.

Joe currently resides in Crown Point with his wife Kelsey and daughters Kylie and Lyla.  He enjoys outdoor activities such as golf, basketball, hiking, and running. He is an avid White Sox baseball fan and Indiana University basketball fan.
